Good morning y’all! I had every intention of posting last night, but at the end of the day it just didn’t happen. Ryan made a crackling fire, we watched a few episodes of Friday Night Lights [we're addicted], and I made sure that none of our remaining Thanksgiving leftovers went to waste
I hope everyone had a fun Friday and has a wonderful weekend! It’s supposed to be bea-uuu-tiful weather in the DC area… This morning Ryan and I are taking our cars to get oil changes and I’m not sure what the afternoon has in store for us. Maybe some Christmas decorating?
P.S. Yesterday was the last day of November aka the day to share this month’s Foodie Penpal goodies… This month I received a box full of Thanksgiving inspired fixings and a recipe for Cranberry Relish, yum!
For the month of December, Foodie Penpals will be participating in a charity to raise money for Hurricane Sandy victims- click here to read more and join.

Yesterday… #elf4Health 11/30 Day 5: How many colors can you eat today? Challenge yourself! Just as I thought, I had no problem eating many rainbow throughout the day- I wasn’t keeping track but my best guess is that I ate approximately 4-5 rainbows?!
This weekend… #elf4Health 12/1-2 Day 6 and 7: Clean out your closet! Fill a bag with clothes to donate to Goodwill or send some belongings to Sandy victims. Get the whole family involved! If you have kids, let them pick out a few things they want to give away. Ask your spouse or significant other if they’re will to donate as well! Ryan and I recently cleaned out our closets to donate to the Lupus Foundation, but I’m sure our other closets could use some gleaning…
Question: Have you decorated for Christmas? It’s high on my to-do list! I need to find a big, burly, truck driving man to help transport our Christmas tree…
Question: Would y’all like to see more recipes? I’m not very good at remembering to post recipes but I’d be happy to share more if y’all are interested!

I love the idea of a Christmas cookie exchange. I just wish I had more friends that lived in the area who could participate.
That wedding ballgown is gorgeous!!
I think you should definitely post more recipes. I am a sucker for new recipes!
I’ve never been to a cookie exchange myself, but my momma goes to at least 3 every holiday season! We should coordinate a blend cookie exchange
I need that coffee shirt, I live by that! haha I love these. I am a huge fan of your pinterest boards, very similar tastes I see.
I was scrolling through their site and there were a bunch of t’s that I liked!
Love the coffee shirt! (as I say whilst sipping on a giant cup of coffee..) And that christmas-y room is adorable.
Haha, me too [as in I found that picture while I was sipping on a cup of joe]
A crackling fire, loving husband, and pie? Definitely good reasons to miss out on blogging. Sounds like a perfect night
I always wait until the first of December to start my decorating, so that’s exactly what I’ll be doing today and I can.not.wait. Hope you find that burly truck driving man soon!
Christmas decorations are starting to come out, I’ve got more work to do today but it’s much better than having the fall decorations still out
Thanks for the link love! Hope everyone enjoys it!
Your night in sounds perfect!
No, thank YOU! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Don’t you just love Pinterest? I’m addicted.
Great set of links (and boards). Oh, and I’m always up for more recipes!
Haha it definitely is addicting, too bad I have hardly made or done any of the pins… Should do 12 days of Pinterest
I love recipes so I am always going to say yesss to posting about them!!
Yay!
Love FNL. Brent and I were addicted to.. I’m sad there is no more!
Love all the ideas!
Thanks!
xoxo
I can’t believe I never watched it before! Thankfully now we can watch 3 episodes in a row and don’t have to wait anxiously wondering what will happen next!
Love your Friday favorite finds, especially the wish lanterns and the winter lights. Would love to be in either of those places! We just cleaned out two of our closets and have three bags to take to the Goodwill. Now it’s just getting them into the car and to the drop off! For some reason we struggle with that.
Hope you had a great weekend!
I wish we had some snow, I’d love to take a walk down that street with the winter lights- so beautiful! And that’s awesome, I hope y’all eventually made it to Goodwill
That wedding dress is to DIE for! I love pinterest… it’s so easy to get sucked in. I have a legitimate problem. But I have to clean out my closet tomorrow… I’m hoping I’ll eventually get around to it… eventually. It’s a busy time of year
Hope your weekend was fabbbb!
Good luck girly, I hope you find some time to clean… Never thought I’d wish someone cleaning luck, ha!
I’m in love with that coffee t-shirt! And yes to the recipes
Me too! Their website has some more fun ones too
I love stuffed squash. I’ve tried a few different recipe variations and they’ve all been tasty!
The candle holder in the jar of water with cranberries–beautiful idea!
Stuffed squash sounds so good, I definitely need to try it before the season is over!
