Whatcha Think?

  1. You had a pretty epic weekend and I am not just saying that because you saw me. Ok, maybe I am but I have to acknowledge the other wonderful things. 1. Your dog needs to be a model, I need a poster with Charlie on it for my apartment. Make that happen. 2. Way to go on that run, you deserved that run more than ever. You gobbled those miles up 3. Wish I could have enjoyed those drinks with you. Oh and that mile high turkey sandwich. So good. Except I don’t consider that mile high it is more normal size for me.

  2. ohhh girl! I had one too many glasses of wine last night ;) I definitely didn’t have enough water! hehe… p.s.. Stanley says hello to Charlie..

  3. There is no such thing as too many drinks ;) and i hope you enjoyed them all! Your weekend sounds like a blast girl! I’m totally with you on bed by 10 this weekend…still doesn’t seem like i got enough so prob not far from bed tonight either…you are going to rock your half, love! Enjoy the rest of your weekend :)

  4. Chelsie S says:

I think that your turkey sandwich and my chicken/bacon/gouda sandwich (on rosemary focaccia) from last night should mate. The product? Deliciousness of epic proportions.
Charlie is a munchkin. Seriously. What a sweetheart. Does he snore?
Sending good luck and good strength thoughts for your momma tomorrow.
And is it only 13 days?! Ridiculous. I can’t believe it. And even less than that until I can give you a hug!!! Happy camper right here.

    • Your sandwich sounds absolutely delicious – I bet you enjoyed every.single.bite! Nope, Charlie doesn’t snore but he does hog the bed… And thanks girl! XO

  5. Wow that sounds like an awesome weekend to me. I saw that Zooma was giving away those training bags to people who signed up. I wish they had done that last year LOL. Hard to believe how close that half is coming…I only say that because I’m doing the Shamrock in VA Beach the same weekend have a countdown coming along.

  6. Poor Charlie… no. Lucky charlie. I want to go to a spa, whether it’s a doggie spa or a real one. Some people (or animals…) have all the luck! If there’s 13 days till the half that means there’s only TWELVE days until we all get to meet! Ahh super excited to form a new posse ;) Your weekend sounds like the bomb diggity. Yes, I did just say that.

  7. Perks of being a wallflower is so good though! Also, your sleepy puppy literally looks exactly like a teddie bear

  8. If I lived near you I would totally watch The Perks of Being a Wallflower with you – I’ve been really wanting to see it!

Also boo to fro yo being closed. What kind of fro yo place closes at 9 on a Saturday? Not cool!

  9. What a creative post!! Too much money spent at the grocery store…the story of my life and not enough cleaning done around this house! Way to go on the 12 miles and good thoughts sent to your mom.

  10. Oh goodness, Charlie – still cannot handle the cuteness.

And closed at 9 on a Saturday? I feel like that’s just unacceptable.

    • I know, right? I understand they probably won’t get too much business later in the evenings, but I’d think that even 10PM would be reasonable for a Saturday…

  11. Aww, sweet sleepy Charlie. What a cutie!

I love the idea of incorporating workouts into commercial breaks. If you really think about it, you could get quite the workout in just during all of the TV commercials!

  12. Love this post! I cannot believe you two have already been home for 5 weeks. I honestly feel like y’all just got home yesterday! Cannot wait to see all of your photo’s from your vacation. I just can’t help but awee everytime I see a photo of Charlie. Seriously, he is the cutest little things, and looks fake, like a stuffed animal :)

    • I know, same! And we’d go back in a heartbeat… It doesn’t get much better than sitting out by the pool in the middle of the ocean being waited on every second of the day :D

  13. I had to beg my mom to watch Perks of Being a Wallflower with me, too, haha. Did you end up seeing it? I thought that the adaptation was really well done.

    • Nope, we didn’t watch it this weekend but I bet that my momma would be more inclined to watch it with me than Ryan is… I’ll have to ask!

  14. I’m wishing your momma all the best!!!!!
    Loved the post!!!! :)

  15. glad to know i wasn’t the only one drinking too much on saturday. that picture of charlie sleeping is the cutest thing ever. i’m sending good vibes to your momma and i can’t wait to see you this weekend!

  16. I hope you liked Season’s 52! They opened near me a little while back, and we finally made it over to try right around Valentine’s Day. We really enjoyed it!

  17. Claire @ Flake and Cake says:

I love this post! Is it wrong that I just want to join the race even though there’s no way I’ll do it just to get the freebies? Closed fro yo is rubbish! Ours is open until midnight or something crazy, thnk goodness. Glad you had a great couple of days and best wishes to your mum!

  18. Make him watch Perks! My boyfriend didn’t really want to watch it either, but he did, and he actually liked it! Best wishes to your mom.. hope she’s doing well today!

  19. Aw you guys are so cute! Excited to see the Honeymoon pics!
