Life doesn’t get much better than waking up to watch the sunrise over the Atlantic, being waited on hand and foot, exploring Eastern Caribbean islands, eating until your heart’s content, listening to live music, swimming with tropical marine life, drinking like a fish, basking in the hot sun, and watching the sunset into the deep depths of the ocean…
If I could, I’d do it all again in a heartbeat. This was the first cruise for both Ryan and I and Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas definitely did not disappoint!
P.S. Ryan just reminded me that there are a TON of pictures on my actual camera, versus these from my iPhone – he was dubbed the “picture taker” so those ones totally slipped my mind… Whoops

man this looks amazing. smiles all around. I can’t even snark on this.
Thanks, we had a blast!
Beautiful pictures! All of these tropical pics would be making me go insane right now if I hadn’t just found out tonight that my husband bought airline tickets for us to go to FL for a few days next month! So excited since I miss living in a tropical climate SO darn much. Anyway, back to your pics – amazing! Looks like you guys had a great time! Seeing the Nassau pics was like a flashback & nice trip down memory lane for me back to my first & only cruise (Nassau, Grand Turk, & Half Moon Cay). Were you able to go to the straw market? I remember being SO upset because I’d been looking forward to it & it was closed for a remodel.
Thanks! We did a land tour and had some time at the end to stroll through the market and I had been to Nassau before – definitely worth checking out
I hope you get a chance to go back sometime! And that’s awesome about your upcoming trip – have a blast!
Okay, jealous beyond belief. You guys look like you had the best time ever, and you’ve only recapped half the trip!
Haha thanks
We loved every moment of the trip!
Now I really want to go on a cruise! Looks like a blast!
If you ever get the chance you should!
It looks like you guys had an amazing time! I’m always amazed at how big cruise ships are and how much there is to do on them. Mini putt, restaurants, shows… it would be impossible to get bored!
Oh my goodness – this ship has everything and more you could ever think of! Rock climbing walls, an ice skating rink, a zip-line…
Eek! You guys look like you had so much fun!! So lucky! The only cruise I’ve ever been on was a Royal Caribbean one too and I loved it (especially they towel origami – I even learned how to make towel animals). Can’t wait for Part 2!
Thanks
Which ship were you on / where did you go? I was thinking of taking the towel making class but totally forgot about it, there was SO MUCH to do!
Everything looks so incredible!
But the biggest thing that needs commenting – drinks in the gym. Hell yes I’ll take a pina colada with my weights :-p
Haha I don’t think there’s anywhere else you’d see someone sipping a margarita immediately after getting off of the elliptical
How fun! It makes me want to go on another cruise, like now! Can’t wait to see the rest of the recap!
I know, I can hardly wait till we go again!
Your pics are absolutely gorgeous. What a fabulous, love-filled vacation <3 The underwater adventure looks like it was a blast! I am patiently awaiting the rest of the recap!
Thanks Haley!
holy. balls. i can’t wait to plan my honeymoon!!!!!! eeeeeeeee !!!!
You are going to have the time of your life! Any ideas where y’all wanna go?
A picture says a thousand words. A zillion pictures must say…. a gajillion and 5 words? I want to go on a cruise. It’s decided. Let’s plan a blog cruise
I’d go on another cruise any day – it was awesome!
Fun fun fun! Ugh, I can’t wait til I get married one day!
Time passes quicker than you think – soon enough!
I don’t even know what to comment on. Your whole honeymoon cruise looks like such a fun time! I wish Oprah would rent me out one of her houses.. I mean really, two??
I bet she’d be happy to rent it to you… For a bazillion bucks!
That cruise ship is UNREAL! Wow! I’ve never been on a cruise, but only hear fantastic things. Looks like an amazing time. Everything is SO beautiful.
You should definitely go if you get the chance! It’s an awesome way to see many beautiful places in one trip
you two are so adorable and you make me want to go on a cruise (which i never though i’d say because i had a horrible experience on the one cruise i’ve gone on).
I’ve heard that people either love it or hate it – but I cannot imagine anyone hating Royal Caribbean!
I can’t wait for parts 2-100 (because I hope there are that many). Looks like such a great time! I’ve never been on a cruise – they freak me out a little – but you are convincing me….
Aw, thanks Lindsay! I definitely had my hesitations about being out in the middle of the ocean but once we got going all of those worries washed away
awwwwwwww, such cute pics!
Thanks Jess!
Your cruise ship looks awesome, and it looks like you had perfectly awesome weather! I could totally go for that margarita, too!
Ohhh, I’d do anything to have that kinda warm and sunny weather all year!
Looks amazing!!!
It wasss
Thanks!
you know we go to the bahamas for 2 week training camp 2x a year?! Our friend/athlete has her whole family there and her uncle owns part of atlantis!! WHOOP!
That’s so cool! Take me with youuu
Omg looks fun! You are brave to go on a cruise after all that hype earlier last month!
We went before that all happened [thankfully] but I definitely still had my worries!
OMG! this makes me want to get to the warmth SO BADLY but in a GOOD WAY! this looks so fun and i want to go on a cruise now, bucket list please. the boat looks SO gorgeous, wait not boat, more like a ship or a casino at sea (i’ve heard casinos are cruise ships on land so there you go). gotta love that marg and the tropical drinks. the entertainment looks great and your dress at the japanese restaurant is toooo cute! you and ryan are just so adorable. you give me hope that not all young couples who get married are crazy! such a cute pair!
Thanks girl
I would do anything to be back down there right now – in the warm weather, laying out in the sun, on the beach…
SO GORGEOUS!! This looks like such a wonderful, memorable, relaxing trip!
Thanks Alex! It definitely was all of those things
Amazing pictures! And what gorgeous views! I’ve always wanted to go on a cruise….just wondered if I’d have a problem since I have a tendency to get sea sick sometimes? :-/
PS, Love that dress your wearing the night you went for sushi! <3
Thanks
I never have had any trouble with getting sea sick so I can’t speak from personal experience, but I have heard from people who have and they said it wasn’t too bad – nothing Dramamine can’t help!
