MIMM: Cousin’s Key Biscayne Wedding

Good morning y’all!  It’s been a few weeks since I joined Katie’s MIMM link-up but I can’t think of a better way to describe this past weekend other than absolutely marvelous!

I packed my real camera but it ended up staying in my suitcase and I relied on my phone…  I get nervous bringing electronics around water [i.e. to the beach and the pool] and then I forgot to take it out for the wedding :P

Thanks Katie for hosting another marvelous link-up!

Question:  What’s your favorite part of a wedding?

Question:  Beach or pool?

Whatcha Think?

  1. What an absolute beautiful and breathtaking wedding! You and Ryan look great too! Way too cool that you had the chance to eat at the Food Network Kitchen #jealous!

    • Thanks girl! Unfortunately it’s not as good as you’d hope… If there were any other options open for breakfast we’d go elsewhere.

  2. Looks like such a fun weekend! I love Florida, even though we usually end up staying only in Orlando or Miami. I’d love to go to some other beaches! I love how the bridesmaids’ dresses are different shades of blue – such a fun idea and definitely one I’ve seen around Pinterest!

    • I haven’t been to Orlando in years, we usually go to Ft. Lauderdale or West Palm since that’s where most of our extended family is… But my momma wants to go to Disney which would be fun :)

  3. I love the decorations, flowers, and cake! The yellow and blue color combination is definitely one of my favorites. And what a beautiful location for a wedding! It looks like you had a wonderful time.

    • It was a great setting for a wedding and it was a great resort – my momma is already talking about going back for a family vacation :P

  4. Oh my goodness, girl, that looks absolutely gorgeous!! I want someone to get married there so I can go haha! I’m not sure if I can pinpoint my favorite part of a wedding…I usually love the whole experience…watching the ceremony, hanging out with friends, eating some hopefully tasty food and cake, dancing the night away…all pretty awesome in my book :)

  5. That looks like such a gorgeous wedding! I’m pretty sure it’s been almost two years since I had a wedding to go to…sadness, because they’re such fun!
I’m not really a water person, so I’ll take either the beach or the pool as long as I have an umbrella and access to fruity-flavoured alcoholic drinks! ;-)

    • I’m a pansy when it comes to going into the ocean, unless the water is crystal clear and I can see the bottom… I’m afraid of sharks!

  6. Beautiful pictures- I just posted my honeymoon recap and now this… I want to get married again (but obviously to Popeye again ;) ). I think the bride and I wore similar dresses- we at least had the same bustle. Glad you had a great time!

  7. I love your green dress! I’m definitely a beach girl. Give me some sunscreen, a blanket, a book and a palm tree and I’m good for hours!

  8. What an amazing place to have a wedding! Love all the pictures and looks like you had a great time!

  9. The wedding looks beautiful! I would love to get married right by the ocean like that. The last wedding I attended was when I was 8, so I barely remember it!

    • I had the hardest time deciding where to get married but when I was younger I thought that I wanted to get married right on the beach :P

  10. Weddings are the best…looks like the most gorgeous place for a wedding, too!

  11. Gorgeous pictures! I love your dresses :)

  12. Lovely pictures! So jealous of your beach time!!! :)
