Favorite Finds: Fall {Coffee Light Frapp}

Heyyyo!  Yesterday I had a meeting with a local principal to discuss my teaching goals – he provided me with great advice and I left feeling confident about the direction that I’m headed…  It makes me so excited to see my plans come to fruition!

After the meeting I swung by Starbucks and ordered a coffee light frappuccino.  Did you know that you can avoid the artificial flavors and sweeteners by requesting no frapp base and adding a banana?!  You can taste the banana, but it reminds me of a chocolate banana milkshake which definitely isn’t a bad thing.  Thanks for the tip Brittany!

10-26 Coffee Light Frappuccino

Once I got home I bundled up for my first cold run of the season (it was in the low 40′s!) and my second 5K of the week.  I know that I’ve mentioned it before, but I’ve hardly run since the spring so it feels awesome to get my groove back.  My pace is without a doubt slower than it was in the spring, but I’m not worried about it.  Time is just a number.  The feelings that I have while running are so much more than just a number.

Since I didn’t share my Favorite Finds yesterday, how about today?

Question:  What’s your favorite drink to order at Starbucks?

Question:  Who’s running this weekend?  I have a 5K tomorrow and a 10K next weekend!

  1. Huh, I didn’t know that, but know I do! Whoever figured out that banana trick is a genius, I can’t wait to try it. I usually stick to iced coffee or iced tea, but sometimes go for a frap when I want to treat myself :) Congrats on getting back into the groove of running! I have a 10K next week too that I am looking forward to!

  2. That Starbucks frapp tip is genius! I had no idea you could do that! My favourite drink at Starbucks is a skinny vanilla latte.

    Loving all these links. That gingerbread pumpkin bread is definitely going on my list of recipes I need to make!

  3. Thanks for the mention! What a great post full of fun fall ideas! Loving your blog!

  4. Thanks for sharing my 8 DIYs to try! And that Frapp tip is pretty fantastic.

  5. Ok! So if you order it with no base and you ask them to throw in a banana, do they charge you for the banana? Or do they call it even? Would I be a total freak if I brought my own banana? ;)
    Thanks for drooling over my Caramel Apples! I wish I had more of them right now!!

    • Yes, they charge for the banana (unfortunately). But that’s a great idea to bring your own from home – definitely cheaper! And thank you for sharing!

  6. LOVE those wedge boots! I wish that every outfit I pinned on pinterest would appear in my closet!! :)

  7. I LOVE ALL THE THINGS! seriously i was ooohhing and ahhhing over this post!!

  1. […] My belly is full (of coffee + pancakes) and I think I’m ready to run…?!  It’s definitely different eating pancakes on race morning, but today’s race is less than 100 yards from our front door and doesn’t start until 9 a.m.  It’s the same 5K route that I ran twice this week. […]
