This is a list of 22 things that I want to do while I’m 22… I’ve got 365 days, can I do it all?! I sure hope so

- Move in with my Dear… UPDATE: I moved in on 10/1/11
DONE! UPDATE: We’re thinking of moving closer into the city!
- Get a puppy… UPDATE: On 1/3/12 we brought home a small, fluffy, black and white puppy and named him Charlie
DONE!
- Plan our wedding… UPDATE: We set a date! UPDATE: All of the planning is complete minus the tastings but I can’t imagine that will be too hard…
- Visit Boston…
- Score more than 100 points in a game of bowling… UPDATE: On 4/27/12 I went bowling with a few friends and scored over 100 points in all three games! DONE!
- Start planning a Best Buddies program at school… UPDATE: A group of peer tutors are coming to our classroom twice a week to work with our students…
- Visit the Baltimore Aquarium…
- Pack a picnic and bike along the Potomac River…
- Start a monthly meet-up with my girlfriends… UPDATE: My girlfriends and I created a FB group and are using it to coordinate more frequent get-togethers!
- Cut down on my expenses… UPDATE: I’ve saved about $50 each week on groceries and I haven’t bought a new piece of clothing or shoes since the new year! UPDATE: Throughout the month of April I bought more clothes than I have all year. Thankfully, April is over…
- Create a collage of all the cards that Ryan and I sent to each other when we were in a long-distance relationship…
- Visit the Newseum… UPDATE: My momma bought us tickets from Groupon, now we just need to put a date on the calendar.
- Try at least 5 new restaurants… UPDATE: Ben & Jack’s Steakhouse in NYC. UPDATE: Asia Bistro in Arlington, VA.
- Learn at least 5 ASL [American Sign Language] signs… UPDATE: I’ve learned “more,” “food,” and “bathroom.”
- Get my VA teaching license… UPDATE: I received my provisional license, bought a frame, and it’s hanging under my BU diploma!
- Run a 5K, 10K, 15K, and half-marathon…
- Learn how to truly relax… UPDATE: I have never appreciated relaxing as much as I do now… After 5 days of teaching, I look forward to the weekends more than ever! UPDATE: Between school, taking courses, volunteering, and looking for a new job, relaxation is what I crave…
- Volunteer at a homeless shelter…
- Register to attend my first healthy living or foodie festival…
- Start a garden… UPDATE: I can’t seem to even keep 1 potted plant alive… I definitely do not have a green thumb.
- Successfully complete my first year teaching… UPDATE: 1 quarter completed! UPDATE: 2 quarters completed! UPDATE: 3 quarters completed!
- Go horseback riding…



I can take you horseback riding big!
Oh yay, that would be fun! I used to go every summer when I went on vaca with my family and would ride on the beach or on the mountains- it was so beautiful

Ditch the “wedding of the dreams” garbage and get married in DC City Hall like my hubs and I did– so much more money for traveling! We have been to three countries and numerous places in the States for all the money we would have blown on one day.
Every girl deserves her “dream” wedding and it’s different for everyone
